*Proceedings and resolutions of AIFUCTO Secretariat meeting held on 29th July,2026:

Friends,

Greetings.

An online meeting of AIFUCTO Secretariat held on 29 th July evening to review and also to take stock of the decisions taken in NEC at New Delhi on 27th June,last month. Prof A Nisanth,President AIFUCTO presided and General Secretary put the details of agenda for discussions.Other secretariat members  Prof.V Ravi,Prof Vinoy Sofat,Prof.B K Mandal,Prof Gandhiraj,Prof Rameshraj,Prof Chandrima Basu  and Prof.Mojpal Singh,Treasurer AIFUCTO were present in the meeting and put their views.

Friends, Hunger strike and struggle of youths’ movement in the leadership of CJP across the nation proved that united movement can compel this autocratic government to accept our genuine demands. This youth movement enlightened and encouraged all democratic organisations including AIFUCTO to move forward for our democratic rights. First time in India ,Education has become core agenda for not only all political parties but also for all democratic organisations at national and state levels. AIFUCTO has been always advocating for united struggle for *Save  Education ,Save Campus ,Save Nation*.         

Unanimously resolved and enriched NEC decisions as follows……..

1.)Unit level Sit in Dharna on 7th August at every college & university level .A new poster will be published with important demands. .All units will include local demands also.

2).On 8 th August a massive Dharna at Jantar mantar will be held. All Office bearers ,NEC members and leaders of AIFUCTO from every state will participate in Dharna .All constituents of JFME will also participate in solidarity with AIFUCTO.

3).A Workshop is organised on 8th August after noon and on 9th August before launch .Each day two sessions  in work shop will be organised..First day on 8th August, 3 pm to 5 pm and 5 pm to 7pm. Next day on 9 th August 9am to 11am and 11am to 1pm will be held with tea break. Prof.Arun Kumar,GS ,Prof.C Padmanabhan former NS AIFUCTO and Prof.A K Mohanthy ,President, FISE will engage three sessions on Organisational issues ,Issues of Higher Education in India and Contemporary National and International issues of Education and task before us. Last session will be discussion session.

All office bearers, NEC members are requested to participate in all sessions of workshop without fail.

4).On 9th August after launch at 3pm JFME -AIFUCTO joint convention on *Issues of Education in India and role of teachers*will begin. Leaders of different Political Parties, MPs and others will be invited to address our convention as well as in Dharna also.

Workshop and Convention will be organised at HKS Bhawan,near Mata Sundri College,New Delhi. All participants in workshop will be provided fooding & lodging.

5).AIFUCTO will send a memorandum with all our demands to Newly appointed Education Minister Sri Prahlad Joshi and Chairman,UGC to seek appointment for AIFUCTO delegation.

6). AIFUCTO NEC already decided for Struggle Fund Rs 100/- per teacher for smooth running movements and activities of AIFUCTO in future.

7).AIFUCTO again request all Zonal Secretaries to hold Zonal meetings to connect with unit level teachers. All Zonal Secretaries are suggested to make coordination with NS,VP,NEC members and former leaders in their area to make our organisations more active and vibrant.
