भूपेन्द्र नारायण मंडल विश्वविद्यालय (बीएनएमयू) के विश्वविद्यालय रसायनशास्त्र विभागाध्यक्ष एवं आईक्यूएसी निदेशक प्रो.(डॉ.) नरेश कुमार विश्वविद्यालय के प्रथम “मुख्य सतर्कता अधिकारी” (सीवीओ) बनाए गए हैं। कुलपति प्रो. बी. एस. झा के आदेशानुसार कुलसचिव प्रो. अशोक कुमार सिंह ने शनिवार को इस आशय की अधिसूचना जारी की।
अधिसूचना में बताया गया है कि यह निर्णय राज्यपाल- सह-कुलाधिपति की अध्यक्षता में बिहार के सभी विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों और उच्च शिक्षा विभाग के साथ 12 मई 2026 को आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक में लिए गए निर्देशों और निर्णयों के अनुपालन में, जिसकी कार्यवाही राज्यपाल सचिवालय, बिहार लोक भवन, पटना द्वारा पत्र संख्या- BSU-76/2025-966/GS(I), दिनांक- 20.05.2026 के माध्यम से सूचित की गई है।
In compliance with the directions & decisions taken in the review meeting held under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Governor- cum Chancellor with the Vice Chancellors of all universities of Bihar and Department of Higher Education on 12.05.2026, proceedings of which, is communicated by Governor’s Secretariat, Bihar Lok Bhavan, Patna vide letter no.- BSU-76/2025-966/GS(I), dated- 20.05.2026, the Vice Chancellor has been pleased to nominate Prof. Naresh Kumar, Head, University Dept. of Chemistry, in addition, to his own duties as the “Chief Vigilance Officer” (CVO) of the University with immediate effect for effective monitoring, timely examination and proper disposal of vigilance and disciplinary matters. The responsibilities of CVO are as under :-
01. Act as the nodal officer for vigilance and disciplinary matters.
02. Conduct preventive vigilance activities (training, risk analysis, system improvements).
03. Handle complaints and allegations of corruption or malpractice.
04. Submit periodic vigilance reports to the Vice-Chancellor and relevant authorities.
