Dr. Ambika Datta Sharma is an accomplished scholar with extensive experience in Indian Philosophy, Buddhism, Buddhist Logic and epistemology, Philosophy of Language, 20th-century Indian Philosophy, and cultural studies, with special reference to Colonial and postcolonial cultural Consciousness.
He has published numerous research papers and extensive works to his credit. His books, ‘ Bauddha Pramana Darshan’ [2007, 2016] and ‘Bauddha Pramana Mimamsa [2019], have received special attention for Meta- epistemological inquiry in the field of Indian epistemology. Another anthology entitled ‘Bhartiyata Ke Samasik Artha- Sandarbha’ [2015] has also received wide recognition and readership regarding the authentic emancipation of the cultural self. Dr. Ambika Datta Sharma is currently serving as Senior Professor & Head, Department of Philosophy, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (M.P.).
He is also serving as the Editor-in-Chief of ‘Madhya Bharti’, a Humanities and Social Sciences Journal published by Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, and an editor of the prestigious Journal ‘Unmilan’ published by Darshan Pratishthan, Jaipur.
