Patna Women’s College : Grand annual day celebration

✨ The Veronica Auditorium at Patna Women’s College came alive on the 3rd of February 2024, hosting a grand annual day celebration that left an indelible mark on our hearts. Honored by the presence of Chief Guest, the Hon’ble Governor of Bihar, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Guest of Honors, Shri Atul Prasad, IAS (Retd.), Chairman of Bihar Public Service Commission, and Prof. K.C. Sinha, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Patna University, the evening was nothing short of spectacular. Dr. Sister M. Reema A.C., Provincial Superior, Apostolic Carmel, Northern Province, gracefully presided over the event. The auditorium was illuminated with the ceremonial lamp lighting by our distinguished guests, symbolizing the spirit of knowledge and progress. Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., shared the college’s recent developments and expressed gratitude for 83 years of committed service, particularly in shaping the history of Bihar for women. The evening unfolded with mesmerizing cultural performances, including Lavani Dance, Blossom Dance, “Mai Bihar Huin” – Nritya Natika, and a Grand Finale. Guest speeches by Prof. K.C. Sinha and Shri Atul Prasad celebrated the institution’s achievements and motivated students to recognize their talents. The Chief Guest, Hon’ble Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, praised the college’s pioneering efforts, especially in adopting the NEP 2020 curriculum, and emphasized the importance of women’s empowerment for societal progress. In her presidential address, Dr. Sister M. Reema A.C. expressed gratitude and pride in the college’s achievements. The night concluded with special awards recognizing meritorious students and groups. Anchored by Ms. Taniya Banerjee, Mr. Adweetiya Sinha, Ms. Vartika, and Ms. Saleha Naaz, the event was gracefully brought to a close with a vote of thanks from Mr. Alok John, Dean – National, International Collaborations and Consultancy Services, leaving everyone inspired and filled with a sense of pride.
